Letter, 1775 March 20.

Letter to Philip Schuyler. "G. DePeyster presents his compliments to Colonel Schuyler, acquaints him that he would have furnished him with his account agreeable to promise, but that for these several days past he has been very much indisposed with the sore throat and fever, and is so so still, but that he may be assured that if possible he shall have it before he goes out of town, otherwise it shall be sent as speedily as may be."

Philip John Schuyler (November 20 [O.S. November 9] 1733 – November 18, 1804) was an American general in the Revolutionary War and a United States Senator from New York. He is usually known as Philip Schuyler, while his son is usually known as Philip J. Schuyler.
